Who we are

admin made simple is a trading name of admin made simple Pty Ltd, a private company (Pty) Ltd registered in South Africa with registration number 2022/835591/07.

Our registered address, and the address at which legal documents may be served, is 10 Remhoogte Road, Somerset West, 7130, South Africa.

You can reach us on +27 76 439 8222, or at michael@adminmadesimple.co.za — we answer email within two working days.

We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on anything we sell and none of our prices contain a VAT component.

What this is

We provide software that builds small business applications from a written or spoken description, and hosts them for you to use. We also carry payments between businesses on this platform and their own customers, which is a different job — the section on paying explains where the money actually goes.

Using it means you accept what is below. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has them.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not use the service for anything unlawful.

What you make

Your data stays yours. The apps you build are yours to use for as long as you have an account with us.

You give us permission to store and process your data only so far as we need to in order to run the service for you — nothing wider.

Sharing an app, and suggesting changes to one

If you share an app with the community, anybody can run it and make their own copy. What travels is the app itself — never your data, never the information behind it, and never anything about the people who use yours.

A copy is a copy. Your later changes do not reach it, and unsharing does not take back copies people already made.

If you suggest your changes to somebody whose app you copied, you are giving them permission to use those changes in their app, for free and for good. They can accept some, all or none of them, and they are not told who you are.

What you may not do

Some of this exists because the messaging features can reach real people, and abuse of them lands on us as well as on you:

  • Do not send unsolicited messages, and do not message anyone who has not agreed to hear from you.
  • Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload.
  • Do not attempt to reach another organisation's data, or to get around the limits in the product.
  • Do not resell access without agreeing it with us first.

AI-generated content

The applications are generated by an AI model. They are usually good and they are not guaranteed. Check anything important before you rely on it, particularly where money, medical information or legal obligations are involved.

You remain responsible for what you do with what the software produces.

Paying

New accounts get a free allowance to try the product with. After that, usage is charged as shown in the app before you spend anything, and what everything costs is set out on our pricing page.

Prices are in South African Rand. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and none of our prices include a VAT component. If that changes we will say so before it takes effect, and we will tell you before any price changes.

A monthly plan renews automatically on the same day each month until you stop it, which you can do at any time. If a payment fails we will try again and tell you; if it keeps failing, the plan stops rather than running up a debt.

Refunds, cancellation and your seven-day right to change your mind are set out in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Where a business sells through this platform, or a school takes an examination fee, that money settles into their own bank account and not ours. We are not the seller of those things and we cannot refund them — the refund policy explains who can.

Stopping

You can stop whenever you like. Ask us and we will delete your account and everything in it.

We may suspend an account that is breaking the rules above, or that is not paying. Where we can give notice first, we will.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never make a mistake.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not permit us to limit.

Cambridge and other examination boards

Cambridge, Cambridge Assessment International Education, Cambridge International and IGCSE are trade marks of Cambridge University Press & Assessment. We are not affiliated with them, we are not endorsed, approved or authorised by them, and we are not an agent or partner of theirs.

We name them for one reason: to say accurately what this software helps a school do. It is administrative software used by exam centres to manage their own entries, timetables and results. It is not an examination board, it does not set, mark or award anything, and nothing it produces comes from Cambridge.

Your relationship with your examination board is yours and is governed by their rules. Where their regulations and this software disagree about how something should be done, their regulations win — and a centre remains responsible for its own compliance with them.

Which law

The law of South Africa applies, and its courts have jurisdiction.
